Roxana Tavana is currently President & CEO and Managing Director and Head, Scotiatrust with Scotiabank.

Before joining Scotiatrust in 2016, Roxana was Associate General Counsel and Head of Legal for Global Asset Management at Scotiabank and led a team of legal professionals and served as Corporate Secretary for various entities. Prior to 2012, Roxana was Vice President, Legal at DundeeWealth Inc. and head of its investment management legal and corporate secretarial group.

Roxana started her legal career at the firm of Davies, Ward, Phillips and Vineberg LLP where she summered, articled and became an Associate practicing corporate and securities law. Roxana is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the e.p.i.c. school, a Director of METRAC, a member of the Malachy Soiree Steering Committee.

Roxana obtained her Honours B.A. from the University of Toronto and her law degree from the University of Western Ontario.
