Ghazal Dehghany

Ghazal Dehghany holds a Master degree in Architecture from Carleton University, Ottawa. She works at a busy Toronto-based Architecture firm “Rafael + Bigauskas” and at her day-to-day job, she works with a variety of people and her clients range from city counselors to private sector developers to senior housing advocates.

Believing in the power and principle of giving back, she has been involved with both Canadian and Iranian communities since her early days in Canada, supporting a variety of cultural initiatives and women empowerment causes. She is currently serving on ‘Stakeholder Relations Advisory Committee of the Board’ for Women’s Habitat. She has been supporting Tirgan since 2015. She also volunteered at 2015 Pan Am games and Tiff Toronto. In 2019, she led a team in both fundraising and constructing ‘Habitat for humanity GTA, Women Build’ affordable housing project in Scarborough.

In addition to her volunteering commitments, she is also an involved member of Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) and helps her professional communities in whatever ways she can.
